Description

Casa Los Angeles, an open beamed colonial/modern yet tropic house, was just completed in the beginning of 2010 and was designed so that you can enjoy the beauty of Nicaragua from every room. It sits on a bluff directly between two of the best beaches in San Juan Del Sur. From the living room you look directly out over the infinity pool on Marsella Beach and on down to Costa Rica. From the entry you have a view of the surf break at Maderas. This house truly has one of the best views of the Southern Nicaragua coast line and is one of the few high-end homes that can be found north of San Juan near the popular beaches. (At Marsella Beach you can find a tranquil white sand beach perfect for swimming while at Maderas Beach you can surf one of the most consistent breaks in San Juan Del Sur.)

The house has a full kitchen with concrete countertops with a wood inlaid bar top. Accordian doors open up to the patio which allows you to feel like your outside when your are sitting in the living room. All three bedrooms are air conditioned and have hardwood floors which are rarely found in Nicaragua. The two upstairs bedrooms have king size beds while the downstairs bedroom has two twin size beds. All bedrooms have ocean views and their own bathrooms. House also includes caretaker and maid.

Transportation

There are several transportation options once you arrive in Nicaragua. The road is paved all the way to San Juan so access is no problem year round for any type of vehicle.  Nicaragua has all the major rent-a-car companies at MGA International and reservations can be made in advance, online or upon arrival. If you decide to drive on your own, please be aware that Nicaragua has regular police checkpoints. If you are driving yourself and plan to head to one of the beaches out of town you will be on dirt roads and 4wd is recommended June-October. If you prefer not to drive, we can arrange private transportation for you and your group. We operate a fleet of vans and 4wd vehicles which will can accommodate airport transfers and daily trips.

Groceries and Restaurants

Food options are plentiful in San Juan. There is a Pali grocery store in town. However, be aware that choice is limited compared as this is not a large supermarket. For more choice try a La Colonia either in Managua or Granada on your way to the property from the airport.  There are several restaurants worth checking out in San Juan.  Some favorites include Jocelyn's on the waterfront offering great seafood and local fare, Bambu Beach for internation-NIcaraguan fusion cooking and excellent cocktails and atmosphere, and El Colibri for a taste of the Mediterranean.
